About Our Organization

Established in 2021, Creative Community Solutions (CCS) is a Washington DC based organization that brings innovative solutions to underserved communities in the District of Columbia.  Our mission is to empower and encourage youth to have accountability while maintaining integrity and respect inside and outside of their communities. Specifically, CCS creates positive solutions for problems encountered by youth and young adults in their communities.  After all, youth are our future and CCS continues to strive and seek success amongst them.

Ronita Overton

Creative Director and Founder


Ronita Overton is a native Washingtonian, United States Army Veteran, published author, actor, filmmaker, producer, and independent recording artist who has successfully published and distributed music globally through her record label, February 8th Records.  Ronita grew up on the tough streets of Southeast D.C.  She defied the odds and excelled up the corporate ladder without a college degree.  She credits youth programs that promote leadership, entrepreneurship, life skills and job readiness as being extremely impactful in her decision to pursue positive career choices.
